FILM BY TWO

 

We created Film By Two to venture into the world of storytelling through different mediums: film photography, digital photography, and filmmaking. Dedicated to creating a world beyond reality while maintaining a sense of realism. We believe that every story is worth capturing to be remembered. Currently, we are freelancing for individuals, magazines, and brands as we indulge in our personal projects.

Moamen Zedan (b.1995) is an Egyptian-American film director and fine art photographer, based in New York City. His work focuses on experimental projects through passionate storytelling. Growing up in three different countries allowed him to relate to and appreciate the vast differences in people's stories. Moamen started his journey by practicing photo manipulation to acquire his vision, but was compelled to produce his own photographs. Gradually he aspired to evolve his stills into riveting motion picture; combining bold visuals and sound to evoke emotion.

Zynab Cewalam (b.1997) is an Egyptian-American fine art film photographer, based in New York City. Her work focuses on portrait style photography in the most honest way. She is inspired by the softer, empathetic side of humans contrasted with her love for the alluring side of fashion. Zynab started her career wandering into the fashion world where she craved more creative direction behind the scenes. Her love for film photography began in the lab room where she stood alone with her images developing and printing her work as she envisioned them.
